Weekend contrasts / Hétvégi kontraszt

The weather was better than usual during the whole month so naturally we planned an outdoor activity for Saturday. The idea came from... well, not sure any more, but considering the outcome I have strong feelings about it being my stupid idea... :)

Anyhow, we planned to go to the beach to build sand castle.

Yes, it is November, but hey, this month is as good as any!
Yes, we are adults, but hey, we all have a kid inside.
No, we really don't care about what others may think.
No, the weather will not stop us!

Friday night was a mild autumn night so after dinner we walked down to the fjord to test the waters - that is try to build something out of sand. I didn't have my camera and my cell phone has no flash so this maybe no be my best shot, nonetheless I had fun. So, building abilities checked, sand is good, weather is perfect... see you tomorrow.

Right. Heavy showers combined with wind that can uproot trees plus low temperature. :( But who cares? We have a plan to accomplish! The drive was nice and we had fun in the car, but once we got there we all looked at each other for confirmation. At one point even the idea of swimming came up and I'm telling you had I taken and extra pair of jeans and jumper with me I would have been crazy enough to run into the water. Not alone of course, I am not stupid after all! :)

The short walk from the car to the sandy beach was enough to get us soaked completely. All of us had wet socks in no time. The cold wind was biting our hands but we started the construction. There were some people on the beach with wet suits and kites - i cannot even imagine what they were thinking of us...

Unfortunately my camera was NOT happy to have close encounters with the rain and the sand and after a few shots he went on a strike. :(

Needless to say we didn't have a picnic at the beach, but quickly made our way back to the car where hot coffe, seat heating and dry towels were waiting.

The rest of the evening was spent in David's house. Some cooking was in order and I offered to make fried rice - my way! He is from Indonesia and had some other ideas so we ended up making 2 different versions. (mine was salty, his was more on the sweet side) Of course mine won... (just don't tell David hehe) :) Nah, kidding, we all won. Had an exciting day, good fellowship, great food and some interesting movies to watch. :)

Idén novemberben az idő sokkal jobb volt, mint általában, ezért szombatra szabadtéri programot terveztünk. Az ötlet... már nem tudom, kitől származik, de ha figyelembe vesszük a végeredményt, nagyon úgy érzem, hogy az én egyik zseniálisan bolond ötletemről van szó. :)

Szóval a tengerpartra készültünk menni, hogy homokvárat építsünk.

Igen, november van, na és, ez ugyanolyan jó hónap, mint bármelyik másik!
Igen, felnőttek vagyunk,a kikben ott lakik az örök gyerek.
Nem, igazán nem érdekel, hogy mások mit gondolnak rólunk.
Nem, még az idő sem állíthat meg minket!

A péntek este kellemesen langyos volt, ezért vacsora után lementünk a partra itt a ház előtt, hogy leteszteljük a homokot.Sajna a kamerám nem volt nálam, a mobilomon meg nincs vaku, vagyis talán nem ez a legjobb képem, de mi jól szórakoztunk, az biztos. A homok jó, építeni tudunk, az idő megfelelő... holnap találkozunk.

Na igen. Felhőszakadás, erős nyugati szél, ami fákat dönt ki, ráadásul hideg is van. :( De kit érdekel? Elvégre terveink vannak! A kocsiút alatt jókat nevettünk, még az úszás is szóba került, és komolyan mondom, ha lett volna nálam egy pár meleg váltóruha, simán beleszaladtam volna a tengerbe. Persze nem egyedül, annyira lökött azért mégsem vagyok! :)

A rövid séta a kocsitól a partig pont elég volt ahhoz, hogy teljesen elázzunk, mindannyiunk zoknijából csavarni lehetett a vizet a bakancsok ellenére is. A hideg szél marta a kezünket, de mi nekiláttunk. Voltak néhányan a parton rajtunk kívül, de ők mind vízhatlan ruhát viseltek és szörfözni jöttek - bele sem merek gondolni, mit gondolhattak rólunk...

Sajna a kamerám nem díjazta, hogy igen közeli kapcsolatba került a homokkal meg az esővel, és néhány kép után bevágta a durcást. :(

Mondanom sem kell, nem tartottunk pikniket a parton, hanem hamar zúztunk vissza a kocsiba, ahol meleg kávé, fűthető ülések és száraz törölközők vártak.

Az este további programja főzés volt egy barátunknál. Kínai sült rizs volt a menü, de a kivitelezésben David, az indonéz srác nem értett egyet velem, vagyis a végén 2 különböző vacsorát szolgáltunk fel - az enyém sós volt, az övé édeskés. Természetesen én nyertem... (csak neki ne mondjátok meg haha) :) Na nem is, csak viccelek, mind nyertünk egy kalandos napot, jó társaságot, fincsa vacsorát és jó filmeket. :)
